The Emmanuel’s Prayer and Meditation Garden was created in 2015 through the generosity of parishioners and friends of Emmanuel Church. It takes up almost an acre of land, and is open to all during daylight hours. There are benches and seating areas throughout, paths that wander through areas both formal and more wild, stumperies, statuary, water and rock features, a Little Free Library, and pieces of stained glass artwork.
If you would like to visit the garden, it is located behind the church, off the parking lot at 120 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland, RI. Below are glimpses of each of the six distinct garden areas.
