My First Visit

Emmanuel Church

We would love for you to join us for one of our services. We think you’ll find for yourself, the excitement at Emmanuel.

For your first visit:

  1. Pick a Service:

    • Sunday @ 8:00 a.m.

    • Sunday @ 10:00 a.m. A family service with music.

    • We recommend arriving about 5-10 minutes before the service to allow time for parking and seating.

  2. Get Directions:

  3. If you have children, drop them off before the 10:00 a.m. service.

    • The Nursery is located immediately to the left in the entry way to the Parish Hall (closest door to the parking lot). Nursery care is provided all year long. (Infant -2 yrs)

    • (Sept - early June) Sunday School classes for ages 2 through 6th grade are held during the first half hour of the service in the Parish Hall (closest door to the parking lot). Classes join us in church after the first half hour. (Journey to Adulthood class for teens is held at 9am in the Parish Hall.)

  4. Go to the Church for the service.

    • Activity bags and clipboards are available for children and can be found the entry way to the Church.

    • Please fill out a visitor card, found in the church entry way.

    • Ushers will greet you and give you a program which will be used during the service. The Book of Common Prayer is the black book and the Hymnal is the maroon book. Both can be found in your pew.

    • All baptized persons are welcome to take communion. If you prefer not to receive communion you can receive a blessing.

  5. After the service (around 11:00):

    • Stop by our coffee hour and enjoy coffee, juice and snacks. This takes place in our Parish Hall.

    • Browse through resources & sign our guest book in the entry to the Church.
