Emmanuel Nursery School will be holding registration for the 2010-2011 school year on January 30th for parishioners and February 2nd for the public. ENS offers preschool programs for 3 & 4 year old children. Please pass this information along to family and friends who might be interested. Emmanuel Church will present an educational program entitled God and Me for kids in grades 1 through 3. The program, which will be presented over the course of 5 two-hour sessions, is used in both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. The God and Me curriculum is designed to help children become best friends with Jesus and tell their story of “God and Me” together.
At the completion of the classes, each child will earn a certificate and a medal, which we hope to present during a Sunday service. For those children involved in Cub Scouts, they will also earn a square knot that can be worn on their uniform. We already have 11 kids signed up. The first class will meet at Emmanuel Church on Monday, February 1.
