Emmanuel Church is collecting donations on the fourth Sunday of the month to benefit the Northern Rhode Island Food Pantry in Cumberland RI. Brown bags (with instructions) and collection boxes can be found in the Church and Parish Hall entryways.  If you have any questions, please call the Parish office at 658-1506.

The Northern Rhode Food Pantry of Cumberland, a non-profit member agency of the RI Community Food Bank serves non-perishable food items to over 130+ needy families per month.  Clientele, consisting of the young, elderly and working poor from Cumberland, Lincoln, Woonsocket and nearby communities, rely on food assistance through charitable donations made to the pantry.  You are invited to take part in Emmanuel’s Weekly Brown Bag Ministry by donating some of the pantry’s most needed items: Cereal , Oatmeal, Pancake Mix, Peanut Butter , Jelly, Pasta/and Sauces,  Mac & Cheese, Hearty Soups, and Tuna. Just take a brown bag with you, fill it up with items, and bring it back to the church. Should you know of anyone requiring food assistance, please tell them about NRIFP.
